Finding The Price Boost
The price boost is available every single week for a set of matches happening on the Saturday. The boost itself is usually posted up around Friday afternoon, but you may sometimes see it as early as Thursday.
To find the boost, you should make sure you are checking the Reload Offers Dashboard as it will always be posted up there when it's available. If you did want to find it yourself, then you can also look in the banner on William Hill as that's where it will appear (see example below).
Occasionally there will be a midweek boost as well (usually for Tuesday night games). This will generally appear on a Monday, however it's not that common. Again, you will find it in the banner and in our Reload Offers Dashboard.
Checking If The Boost Is Profitable
The William Hill boost is pretty much always profitable, however some weeks it may be only worth a few pence and so you might want to work out whether it's worth your time.
As always we will have full instructions posted on the Reload Offers Dashboard so you can simply go on there and find out how much the boost is worth and decide whether you want to take it or not.
To find out for yourself if the price boost is profitable you can check the pre-made accumulator markets on Matchbook here. You must be logged in to see the up-to-date odds. Simply check the back odds of the boost on William Hill and compare them with the lay odds on Matchbook. The back odds on William Hill must be higher for the boost to be profitable as you can see in the example below.
Profiting From The Boost
Profiting from the William Hill boost works exactly the same way as any other boost would; simply back your bet on the bookmaker and lay the bet on the exchange.
No messing about with free bets - the profit is instant due to the difference in the odds!
The maximum stake for the price boost on William Hill is £5, however if your account has been restricted you might not be able to get that much on. To see your max stake you will need to have £5 in your account. Simply try to place your £5 bet and if you are restricted they will offer you a set amount on the boost, and the rest of the stake at the "normal" odds. Reject this offer, and re-bet on the boost with the amount you were allowed.
When placing your lay bet it is important that you Lay Yes. This is the blue box next to Yes. Accas can be confusing for newbies and it's a common error that people think you should Lay No, or Back Yes. This is wrong.
The golden rule of Matched Betting is that "Whatever you back, you lay the same thing".
So if you're backing "Man Utd and Tottenham to win", you're basically backing Man Utd & Tottenham - Yes (yes, they will both win). Now you must lay Man Utd & Tottenham - Yes so that you are doing the opposite thing.
