Lord Of Matched Betting

Skybet offer three weekly price boosts on the Football and they are very quick and easy to do.

You can make anywhere from £2 to £5 profit in literally one minute, and they run the promotion every single week!

This is such a great little offer to add to your Matched Betting arsenal as you'll make an easy bit of guaranteed cash each week and, if you bet on all three boosts then you will also qualify for the Skybet Weekly Betclub.

In this guide you will learn:

  • How to find the price boosts

  • How to check if a price boost is profitable

  • How to profit from the price boosts

Finding The Price Boosts

The price boosts are available every single week for three matches happening on the Saturday. The boosts themselves are usually posted up around Thursday evening, but you may sometimes see them as early as Wednesday or as late as Friday.

To find the boosts, you should make sure you are checking the Reload Offers Dashboard as they will always be posted up there when they're available. If you did want to find them yourself, then you can also look in the banner on Skybet as that's where they will appear (see example below).

Occasionally there will be midweek boosts as well (usually for Tuesday night games). These generally appear on a Monday, however they aren't that common. Again, you will find these in the banner and in our Reload Offers Dashboard.

Example

Here's an example of what the boosts look like when Skybet post them up.

On the boost page itself:

Checking If A Boost Is Profitable

Usually all three price boosts are profitable when Skybet post them, however this is not always the case. Some weeks only one boost may be profitable, and other weeks all three may be.

As always we will have full instructions posted on the Reload Offers Dashboard so you can simply go on there and find out which ones are profitable and how to profit from them.

To find out for yourself if a price boost is profitable you can check the pre-made accumulator markets on Smarkets here. You must be logged in to see the up-to-date odds. Simply check the back odds of the boost on Skybet and compare them with the lay odds on Smarkets. The back odds on Skybet must be higher for the boost to be profitable as you can see in the example below.

If you haven't got a Smarkets account yet, you can grab one and get a nice sign up bonus here.

Example

Here's an example of a profitable price boost.

As you can see the back odds of all three of the boosts are 5.0, 12.0 and 19.0 below.

The lay odds on the exchange (circled in red) for each boost are 4.3, 11.0 and 17.0. You can put these into the calculator as 5.0 / 4.3 and 12.0 / 11.0 and 19.0 / 17.0 to show an instant profit for all three boosts.

Occasionally the lay odds on the exchange might be the same or even higher than the price on Skybet. That simply means that the particular boost you are looking at is not profitable and so you just skip it for that week.

Profiting From The Boosts

Profiting from the Skybet boosts works exactly the same way as any other boost would; simply back your bet on the bookmaker and lay the bet on the exchange.

No messing about with free bets - the profit is instant due to the difference in the odds!

The maximum stake for each price boost on Skybet is £10, however if your account has been restricted you might not be able to get that much on. To see your max stake you can simply type "9999" into the betslip and it will tell you your maximum stake.

When placing your lay bet it is important that you Lay Yes. This is the blue box next to Yes. Accas can be confusing for newbies and it's a common error that people think you should Lay No, or Back Yes. This is wrong.

The golden rule of Matched Betting is that "Whatever you back, you lay the same thing".

So if you're backing "Man Utd and Tottenham to win", you're basically backing Man Utd & Tottenham - Yes (yes, they will both win). Now you must lay Man Utd & Tottenham - Yes so that you are doing the opposite thing.
