Pokerstars RequestABet Fridays
Every Friday Pokerstars have a great offer available where you can earn a £5 free bet for placing a total of £10 in bets. This offer is a little different to the regular Bet X Get Y offers though, as both the trigger and free bets must be placed using their Request A Bet feature.
It's still a very easy offer to complete however, and in this guide I will show you everything you need to know so that you can profit from the offer.
Below, you will learn:
What Is A Request A Bet?
A Request A Bet is a special type of bet offered by Pokerstars that the majority of bookmakers are now also offering.
You can essentially "design" your own bet. Rather than betting on say Tottenham to win a football match, you might want to bet on Tottenham to win and Harry Kane to score first. With Request A Bet, you can do exactly this!
Lots of sites have their own type of Request A Bet and they are all called something different. At Team Profit we call them DIY bets, and we have a guide on laying DIY bets.
The best way to attempt these types of offer is to not lay the DIY bet, purely because some bookmakers may see that the combination of outcomes you are putting can be easily layed. If you do want to lay the bet however, you can choose something like Match Result and Over 2.5 goals. This type of bet is easily layable on the exchange, as well as many more options (check out Betfair's markets on the particular match you are looking at).
Step 1 - Find The Market
The best way to complete this offer is to navigate to the Football tab on a Friday. Usually there will be an English Championship match on, however if there isn't then I'd advise looking for a Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga or Italian Serie A game. All of these leagues are extremely high profile and you'll find some good Request A Bets there.
Once you've found a high profile football match, click into it and navigate to the RequestABet market. Here you will find plenty of RequestABets like in the example below.
Step 2 - Choosing A Bet (Or Bets)
Not every RequestABet will be layable and so the best strategy is to scroll down to the lowest odds ones and select between 5 and 10 different bets. You can then bet £1 (or £2) on each one until you've bet the required £10 amount. Of course, some of these may lose and some may win, but over time the losses and wins will slightly even out when you factor in the free bet.
If you are risk-adverse and would like to lay a bet however, then choosing something like Winner And Both Teams To Score is a great option. There isn't always a bet like this to lay though, however if you do find one that you can lay then you can simply back £10 on the bet and lay on the exchange as normal!
Step 3 - Using The Free Bets
The £5 free bet should be credited instantly (after you've placed a total of £10 in bets) and is only available for RequestABet markets. If you look for something around odds of 5.0 to 10.0 then you may find a good bet that you can retain £3 or so from by laying, however I'd recommend using the free bet just as you did the trigger bet(s).
Find a bet around odds of 4.0 to 6.0 and just back the free bet. If you're doing this offer every week then you will have some that win making the offer profitable in the long run.
If you do find something that can be layed, then of course calculate as Free Bet SNR and lay the bet using as you normally would a free bet.
