OddsMonkey Racing Matcher
Find The Closest Back & Lay Odds For Every Offer!
A very helpful tool for completing Racing Refund offers is the OddsMonkey Racing Matcher.
As explained in the Racing Refund guide, the key to these offers is to minimise your trigger bet loss by finding the horses with the closest back and lay odds.
The Oddsmonkey Racing Matcher does exactly this by showing you a list of every offer and the horses with the closest odds with the exchange.
Racing Matcher Key Benefits
Shows every offer available for every race
Shows the lowest trigger bet losses for each offer
Shows the exact lay stake
One click to the bookmaker and exchange markets
Racing Matcher Overview
The Racing Matcher is incredibly easy to use. Simply head to the OddsMonkey Racing Matcher and you will see a list of all the races which have offers:
You can then click on the bookmaker name which will display the offer & the horses with the lowest trigger bet losses. For example:
If a horse has a qualifying loss and horse odds are suitable, then simply click on the bookmaker logo and the exchange logo to place your bets.
The exchange lay stake is shown in the second column from the far right.
What Is The Maximum Trigger Bet Loss I Should Accept?
|Refund Offer||Expected Profit|
|Horse comes 2nd or 3rd
|High odds horse wins
Bet365 & Betfair
|Horse comes 2nd||£3|
|Horse comes 2nd and SP favourite wins||£1|
|Others - beaten by a length, faller||£1|
From this expected profit, you need to deduct the trigger bet loss.
For example, for the weaker offers that only have an expected profit of £1, you would only want to have a trigger bet loss of around 25p so you make 75p net profit.
OddsMonkey Forum - Very Useful!
I highly recommend using the OddsMonkey forum when completing Racing Refund offers. They have a new post every day listing all the offers where members can discuss the offers for that day.
For example, here is a recent Saturday thread which ended with 658 comments!
Racing Matcher Additional Tips
You can have the Racing Matcher open at anytime and then as the next race is approaching, simply check the offers to see if there is a horse with sufficiently low trigger bet odds. If so, click the logos and place the bets!
Also to add is that for the 'Horse comes 2nd to SP favourite' be wary that the Racing Matcher will show the starting price favourite. Therefore, I'd recommend just clicking the exchange logo which will show you the race market so you can easily double check that it won't be the SP favourite.
